Audi connect plug and play, general information

With the free Audi connect plug and play app and the Audi DataPlug, you can turn your Audi from model year 2008 into a connected car. Simply use Bluetooth to use the numerous app features such as the digital mileage tracker, driving style analysis or challenges.

Audi connect plug and play currently offers the following functions:

"My Audi, driving style analysis, mileage tracker, statistics, challenges, service appointments, parking location, fuel monitor/charging monitor, and breakdown and assistance."

You need the following components:

• A smartphone with Android operating system (version > 7) or iOS operating system (min. current iOS version minus 1. Example: current iOS version = 14. Therefore, OS 14 - 1 = iOS 13 is supported).

• The Audi connect plug and play app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).

• The Audi DataPlug (included as standard in many Audi models). The Audi DataPlug is also available from your Audi partner and also from Audi Genuine Parts and Accessories in some countries.

• A compatible Audi model.

Depending on your country, you can connect electric or hybrid electric vehicles with Audi connect plug and play. Please note that there may be differences in the functions with an electric vehicle. For example, we calculate efficient driving styles a little differently for those vehicles, and different vehicle parameters are displayed for a journey.
